Description
Depicting the second configuration of the 'Darmstadter Und Nationalbank' (title over the doorway) as architecturally amended by Hermann Dernburg. The bank was destroyed by bombing din WWII. The Russian Embassy now stands on what was formally the rear part of the bank. Marked 'Posen'. With personal inscription on inner gilt cover.
